Blue Cheese, Walnut, & Golden Raisin Crostini

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush each slice with oil and bake until crisp and lightly toasted, about 3-5 minutes. In a small pan, simmer golden raisins with white wine until the wine is fully absorbed. In a bowl, combine toasted walnuts, blue cheese, minced shallots, and the prepared raisins, then spread this mixture onto each toasted baguette slice. Sprinkle with Sel Gris French Sea Salt and return to the oven for about 4 minutes, or until the cheese melts. Serve the crostini warm.

24 slices of baguette bread, each ¼ - inch thick

2 T The Olive Bin’s Walnut Oil

1/3 C golden raisins

1/3 C white wine

½ c chopped toasted walnuts

8 oz. blue cheese, crumbled

4 T minced shallots
