Fruit Salad with Orange Vanilla Syrup

Put sugar, water, orange juice, vanilla paste, and balsamic in saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes to thicken slightly. Cool, then refrigerate. Pour over prepared fruit several hours before serving and continue to refrigerate.

Ingredients

1 C sugar
1 C water
1⁄2 C orange juice
2 tsp vanilla paste (or the scrapings from a real vanilla bean)
1⁄4 C of The Olive Bin's Orange Vanilla Balsamic
4 lb strawberries – cut into chunks
1 lb blueberries
11⁄2 lb purple grapes – cut in half
11⁄2 lb green grapes – cut in half
