8 oz broccoli rabe
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
4 Tbsp The Olive Bin’s Italian House Blend Olive Oil
1 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/4 tsp salt

Wash & dry the broccoli rabe. In a pot of lightly salted boiling water, blanch the broccoli rabe(2 mins). Transfer the broccoli rabe straight to ice water to stop the cooking, and drain. If needed, dry the broccoli rabe.
While blanching the broccoli rabe, heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-low heat. Lower the heat to low and add garlic, lemon zest, salt, and optional red pepper flakes. Stir occasionally for 10 mins. Watch to make sure garlic doesn’t burn.
Add the broccoli rabe to the skillet and turn up the heat to medium. Toss the broccoli rabe in the garlic mixture for 2-3 mins.
Drizzle with lemon juice and serve right away.
